"...It was the strength of the film. What Andrew Simpson who tended and trains the wolves achieved was exceptional. In keeping with the story-boards, some scenes were extremely difficult to shoot. As time went on, we realized that we would in fact be able to get all of these shots with both wolves and actors working together. Andrews relationship with each wolf garnered respect, as he always acted with both calm and confidence, effectively executing his work with extreme finesse. I can tell you that on certain levels we were witnesses to some great moments of real grace..."
